Lions Heart

Lion's Heart empowers young people in grades 6–12 to become compassionate leaders through volunteer service. By connecting teens with meaningful opportunities to give back, we help them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create lasting change in their communities. 

Your support makes it possible for more youth to discover the lifelong impact of service while strengthening the nonprofit organizations that depend on volunteers every day.

What began in 2004 as a small community effort has grown into a national organization serving thousands of teens across the United States. To date, more than 21,000 teens have participated in the program, contributing over 2.3 million hours of service to causes they care about.

Lion's in Action was created to bring that spirit of service to life on a larger scale. This annual event unites hundreds of teen volunteers and nonprofit organizations for an afternoon of hands-on projects that create immediate, tangible impact. By working side-by-side, young people learn the value of community engagement while nonprofits receive much-needed support for their missions.

Together, we can empower the next generation of leaders, strengthen local nonprofits, and create lasting change in our communities. The experiences teens gain through service become the foundation for a lifetime of leadership and community involvement.
