Platinum Performing Arts

Platinum Performing Arts was formed this past May 8, 2023 in Orange County, California. The founding corporate officers have over thirty-five years working in the performing arts. The Board President, Alexandria Thompson, has previously managed performing arts companies and non-profit organizations, including a musical theater program for adults with special needs in Missouri. As strong advocates for performing arts education, the founding corporate officers have seen first-hand a need for more inclusive and accessible performing arts programming in the Orange County community that are affordable and high quality. Platinum Performing Arts seeks to break down some of the financial, physical, and social barriers that prevent children and young adults from participating in performing arts and entering entertainment industry careers. There is a need and important opportunity to offer these options in the form of theatre and dance classes, productions, competition teams, community performances, adaptable and inclusive performing arts options, sensory sensitive performing arts programs, and inclusive performing arts educational spaces.
